Yangzhou Marine Cable Factory founded in 1985 is a joint-stock enterprise professionallymanufacturing the shipboard electric wires and cables as well as special cables. The factory
is located in Hangji industrial park of Yangzhou city, Jiangsu province, and has convenient
traffic with nearby Ningtong expressway.
Now the factory covers an area of 59,000 square met-
ers, employs all kinds of engineering, technical and production personnel of over 300 workers,
and yearly produces various series of shipboard power cables，Shipboard Control Cables，Ship-
board communication Cables，Shipboard Fire Resistant Cables and shipboard degaussing cables
etc of more than 80,000 km. All these cables are manufactured according to China state stand-
ards (GB), China professional standards (JB), China military standards (GJB) and International
standards (IEC) and have been approved by various classification societies such as CCS (Chin-
a), ABS (USA), LR (UK), GL (Germany), BV (France), DNV (Norway) and RINA (Italy) etc.
In 2003
the factory passed both certificate of ISO 9001-2000 International Quality System and certif-
icate of GJB 9001A-2001 Quality System of China Naval Equipment Department, therefore became
the first manufacturer of wires and cables in China being placed on the maker list of China
naval equipment. With excellent production facilities, strong technical manpower, advanced pr-
ocess technology, complete measuring instruments and high quality products our products have
been widely used in many industries such as shipbuilding, petroleum, chemical, machinery, har-
bor and military industries etc. “Hangxia” brand of shipboard electric wires and cables ha-
vewon favorable comments universally from vast numbers of domestic and foreign customers for
many years and have been appraised as “ Customers satisfying products” by Jiangsu province.
